Seance on a Wet Afternoon 1964 PG

Great Britain Director. Bryan Forbes

Richard Attenborough and Nanette Newman star in Bryan Forbes’ stylish psychological thriller about a medium who plans to kidnap a child and help the police solve the crime to bolster her claims of clairvoyance.

Richard Attenborough won a Bafta for his performance as the impressionable Billy Savage, while the film is also notable for its rare lead performance from acclaimed theatre and television actor Kim Stanley, who wouldn’t make another film appearance until Frances in 1982.
