The Happiness of Three Women 1954 U

78 mins United Kingdom Director. Maurice Elvey

Petula Clarke stars in this charming romance directed by British stalwart Maurice Elvey. The Wishing Well Inn in rural Wales becomes the centre of love and intrigue when three troubled guests arrive, and become subject to the manipulations of a conniving postman (Eynon Evans), who only has eyes for the landlady.

Evans also wrote the successful play on which the film was based.
