Colin Milburn's Cricketing Comeback 1970

2 mins United Kingdom

Cricketing great Colin “Ollie” Milburn, new manager of the International Cavaliers Cricket Team, speaks to Anglia Television. In the previous year, Milburn was involved in a car accident resulting in the partial loss of sight in his left eye. Milburn speaks about his thoughts of a comeback into the sport – will he be able to play again? Milburn also jokes about his stocky build – will he even be fit enough to return to the sport?

The East Anglian Film Archive, the first and largest Regional Film Archive in England, was established in 1976. Since 1984, EAFA has been owned and operated by the University of East Anglia, Norwich (UEA), to support research and work to preserve our moving image heritage. More than 250 hours are freely available online as examples of the wide range of film which attracts interest the world over.
