A Christmas Carol 1914

20 mins United Kingdom

This fine early version of Charles Dickens's timeless Christmas story features established stage actor Charles Rock in the role of Ebenezer Scrooge. Despite the compressed running time, all of the story's essential ingredients are skilfully woven into the mix. The visitations of the ghosts and their travels through space and time with Scrooge are particularly impressive for the period.
